What area do you serve?
We serve the Chatham-Kent area of Ontario, Canada.
What types of cleaning services do you offer?
We offer regular cleaning, deep cleaning and move-in/move-out cleaning services. We offer these services as a one-time service, or with 6-month and 12-month contracts.
What cleaning solutions do you use?
We use only our home-made, eco-friendly cleaning solutions.
What other services do you offer?
We also offer Residential Space Organization, Personal Shopper and Gardening/Yard services. Please see Our Services section for all the details.
Are you pet-friendly?
Yes, we are comfortable with pets in the house. Please let us know during the consultation about any special instructions regarding their care while we are in your home.
What are your tips for preparing my home for a cleaning appointment?
We recommend our clients putting away any personal items, that you do not want us to touch or to see, and any other items, such as garbage, that might get in the way of the cleaning or of us accessing areas to clean.
How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since April 1, 2023, offering cleaning services to the Pelee Island community.
What happens if the cleaning takes longer/less than the quoted time?
During the cleaning we will message you about anything we find, that will shorten or lengthen the cleaning session and you will be able to approve the shorter/longer time before we finish the cleaning session. We will only charge for the time, it took us to clean.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my cleaning session?
Please message us before the end of the business day (5pm) of the day before your scheduled cleaning to cancel or reschedule. Messages to cancel or reschedule sent on the same day as your scheduled cleaning session will be charged in full. Please note that we will only be able to schedule the next cleaning and resume our services after the payment of any outstanding fees.
Do you have insurance?
At this time, we do not have insurance but we will certainly review this need as our business grows.
Are there any extra costs?
No, our hourly rate is all you will pay. Our hourly rate covers our work, transportation and cleaning supplies. The consultation and all communication is free of charge.
Do you offer receipts?
At this point in time, we do not offer tax receipts as we do not charge GST/HST, however, once we start charging GST/HST, we will offer receipts.
How do you take payments?
We accept payments in cash and by e-transfer at SparkyCleaningServicesCanada@gmail.com on the day of the scheduled cleaning or within two calendar days of the scheduled cleaning.
